This bespoke dwelling draws inspiration from the rich agricultural heritage of the surrounding village and gardens. The design embraces a traditional, symmetrical gabled façade and combines natural and contemporary materials. The layout delivers practical and functional internal spaces that meet the needs of a young family.
The house takes the name Red House from its palette of tumbled red brick, slate roof tiles, and zinc dormer windows. A chamfered masonry wall leads to a full-height entrance hallway. The ground floor includes both open and enclosed accommodation. The northern wing contains a games room, study, and snug. The southern wing provides an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space.
