Newbridge Court redevelops the former Tolesby Shops site in Acklam, Middlesbrough. Working with Middlesbrough Development Company, we designed a mixed-use residential and commercial scheme.
The proposal transforms a disused site into ground-floor retail space and 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The retail unit will deliver a much-needed commercial boost to the area.
The project aims to provide affordable, high-quality housing. The scheme represents a multi-million-pound investment by the council in local regeneration. GRADONARCHITECTURE responded to this vision with a contemporary design that meets nationally recognised space standards. The project has now been submitted for planning and will provide a positive intervention in the local property market.
