48 Portland Place sits in Marylebone, London. This Grade II listed building now includes redeveloped basement, ground, and first-floor spaces converted into contemporary apartments for modern living.
The Adams brothers originally designed the building around 1776. It holds strong historical value in central London. Its neoclassical Adamesque style appears throughout the interiors, with Roman motifs, urns, arabesque vine scrolls, and decorative panels.
We worked closely with Westminster City Council’s conservation team. We secured planning permission and discharged the required conditions through a detailed and collaborative process.
We delivered this project in partnership with our Northern Ireland Atelier Studio. We value the opportunity to collaborate across teams and continue to work together on future projects.
