We supported the students of St Mary’s Primary School with their sandcastle competition this week.
We started by presenting what architecture is. We showed examples from their everyday lives. Then we explained the sandcastle challenge.
In class, the students researched famous landmarks. After that, we went to the beach to build!
In small teams, the students created the Angel of the North, St James Park, the Great Wall of China and even the Petronas Towers.
A huge well done to everyone involved.
