We were delighted to support the students of St Mary’s Primary School with their sandcastle competition this week.
We started by delivering a presentation to the students about what architecture is, examples of architecture in their lives and outlining their sandcastle competition.
In class the students then researched various architectural landmarks…then we headed to the beach to get building!
In small teams, the students worked together to create famous landmarks like the Angel of the North, St James Park, The Great Wall of China and….Petronas Towers…!
A huge well done to all involved.
