Malaga 2018 Study Trip

Our Architecture is about People.

Following another busy year it was great to see our teams from England and Northern Ireland come together in Malaga for a few days of rest, recuperation and collaborative reflection upon the past year, as well as planning for the year ahead. Regrettably Uugaa was unable to join us from Australia where she is currently working on a number of our  projects both in the UK and in Mongolia, but she was very much in our thoughts and our plans for the year ahead!

With our flights arriving respectively from Belfast and Newcastle within a few hours of one another, it was our Ne40 Studios team who established our best vantage points and set the pace for the coming days together. Despite the torrential rain and thunder storms we managed to see the majority of the sites which included The Hamman Arabic Baths, The Museo Picasso, The Teatro Romana, The Cathedral and The Pompidou Centre and contemporary Marina – all of which inspired the soul and our creative minds!

Managing Director Graham McDarby said:

“While the weather may have disappointed, the cultural sites certainly did not and actually proved to be hidden gems – accompanied by some great tapas, fantastic food markets, cervezas, vino and some great people – Our People!…the trip proved to be a huge success and a welcome respite for us all – a huge thank you to all of our team for 2018!”
