Tyneside Badminton Centre comprises of eight new courts within a single volume hall with secondary changing, gym and education facilities located centrally over two floors.

The facility provides bespoke accommodation in accordance with Sport and Badminton England guidance and is home for a variety of junior and senior league clubs. The sporting accommodation is complemented by a range of specialist extra care and therapy suites.

The designs are future proofed to facilitate further development of additional courts and the introduction of complimentary sports such as table tennis.

The simple and robust nature of the external façade is deliberate, ensuring that the most value is achieved for the client by spending money on the most important element of the project – the badminton courts!
