This new community hub in Jarrow provides a central facility to serve the surrounding communities for South Tyneside Council. This complex refurbishment updates a 70’s leisure facility integrating other community uses, such as a library, to regenerate this old leisure facility into a thriving hub. Uses include upgraded sports halls, gym, theatre, dance centre, library and Council Customer Services. The renovation involves re-designing the entrance and circulation through the building and upgrading the buildings windows and internal workings.
